AskFoodie.AI turns walk-ins into regulars.

Most restaurants have no way to bring a diner back. They arrive anonymous and they leave anonymous. AskFoodie gives you a digital punch-card that runs itself, and puts you in a shared network with the restaurants around you — so the guest who enjoyed Friday has a reason to come back on Tuesday, and diners who have never heard of you start walking in.

It doesn't touch your POS. There's nothing for your diners to download and nothing new for your staff to learn.

The two things you run

Your punch-card is yours alone. Turn it on today and your regulars start filling it this week — it works whether or not anyone else joins. See loyalty punch-cards.

The Foodie Passport is your area's network. Diners fill one card across ten different nearby restaurants, and the reward is honoured at any of them. How it works

Your dashboard opens on a short Get set up checklist. It's four steps, and you can finish it in one sitting.

1. Name, cuisine and description. A line about the place, so diners know what they're looking at. See Restaurant profile.
2. Link your Google listing — it fills in your address, map pin and timezone in one tap.
3. Create your punch card. Decide how many visits earn a reward and what the reward is — "10 visits, one free coffee". Publish it and it's live. See Run a loyalty punch-card.
4. Get your check-in tags and stick one on the counter. See Set up your tap tags.

That's it — you're running. Diners tap the tag on the way out and their punch lands: no app for them, no staff involvement, nothing to hand out. If a tag isn't to hand, ask the diner for their 4-digit code and type it on the Check in keypad. See Check diners in.

When the card fills, the reward drops into the diner's wallet and they spend it themselves — on that visit or any later one, by showing you the reward and tapping once after you say yes. You'll see a banner when they do. Punches only count when a diner is physically at your counter, so the program can't be gamed from home.

Then two things worth doing

Join the Foodie Passport. Pick the network for your area and say what perk you'll honour. Once you're approved, diners filling their passport across nearby restaurants have a reason to try yours. See the Foodie Passport.

Post updates, and notify when it's worth it. A new dish, live music Friday, half-price oysters — post it and it reaches everyone who follows you, in their feed and in a weekly email. For the ones that really matter, tap Notify and it goes to their phone. That's capped at once a day and twice a week, on purpose: an alert people ignore is worth nothing. And your QR menu

Loyalty runs entirely from the counter, so a restaurant that only wants a punch card is never handed menu work to get one. But if you want your menu on a diner's phone, add it (type it in, or let AI read a photo of your printed one) and it's live — there's no switch to flip. One QR code for the whole restaurant sits at the bottom of the Menu page: a diner scans it and gets your page — what's on, your menu, and the check-in card. See Your QR code.
