Give punches to delivery orders
Print QR cards for your delivery bags so diners who order online earn a punch too.
Diners who order through Zomato, Swiggy, Uber Eats or your own phone line never reach your counter, so they can't tap a tag or type the counter code. Delivery cards fix that: you print a sheet of QR cards, put one in each bag, and the diner scans it at home to collect their punch. This isn't an integration with any delivery app — it's a printed card, so it works however the order came in.
How it works
- Print a batch. Go to Loyalty → Delivery cards, pick a print size, enter how many cards you want, and tap Print new cards.
- Drop one in each bag. Whoever packs the order adds a card, or sticks one on the flyer that goes in the bag.
- The diner scans it with their phone camera. They sign in with an email code if they aren't already, and the punch lands on your punch card.
Every card is a different code that works once. A photo of one card is worth one punch, never more — so a card posted online can't be used again and again.
Printing your cards
- Print size: pick the size that suits your bags.
- Small sticker (about 3.5 cm) — for sticker sheets you put on a flyer.
- Medium (about 5 cm) — a good default for a card in the bag.
- Large card (about 7 cm) — a card on its own.
- How many new cards: anything from 1 to 500 per batch. Print roughly what you'll send out in a week or two.
A print window opens with the cards ready. If nothing opens, allow pop-ups for the site in your browser and tap Print new cards again.
Reprinting cards you haven't used
Lost a sheet, or the printer jammed? Under Printed so far, each batch shows how many of its cards have been scanned. Tap View & print unscanned to print the cards from that batch that nobody has scanned yet — no new cards are made, so you're not giving away extra punches.
Who can do what
- Owners and managers can print new batches.
- Staff can open the page and reprint unscanned cards, so whoever packs the bags can keep the stack topped up — but can't make new ones.
What the diner sees
- A punch lands — they see your restaurant and their progress on the card.
- "Keep this card" — they've already earned a punch from you in the last 6 hours (the same rule as a counter visit), or your account can't give punches right now. The card isn't used up; they can scan it again later.
- "This card has already been used" — someone scanned it before.
Good to know
- Your punch card has to be published. A card with nothing to stamp gives nothing. Set one up under Loyalty → Punch card.
- A delivery counts as a punch, not a visit. It moves the diner along your punch card and earns points, but it doesn't open the check-in window a counter visit does, so it can't be used to spend a reward or upload a bill.
- Scanning while signed out doesn't use the card. It's only used once the diner signs in and the punch is collected.
- Run a restaurant and cloud kitchens? We can link your stores so a punch at any of them lands on one card. Get in touch to set it up.
